The 5th Knaresborough Brownies led by Brown Owl (Linzi Harrison) recently presented local Member Alan Colebrook with a cheque for £151. This was the proceeds of a sausage and mash supper in aid of JHC. |

Supporters in Knaresborough found that fundraising can be fun when they
enjoyed a “Curry Experience” recently. 4 Hands on the Keys played music,
which everyone enjoyed, followed by a delicious meal that was equally well received. This group sponsors 9 children in India, and the funds raised will help with their continued support. |

Nottingham company, Clinphone, welcomed Mirabile Ladies Vocal Ensemble who performed a varied programme of music in a recent Charity concert. A share of the proceeds will be helping the children we support in South India. |

A warm day in September was perfect for Rosemary and Keith MacCarthy Morrogh to host their Garden Party. They tell us that in wonderful sunshine 60 guests drank white wine and had an excellent India style lunch of spicy chicken with vegetable dahl cooked in mild spices brought home from India. Thanks to the people who came to this party, together with many others who could not make it on the day but sent in a contribution; their generosity will help many, many children in the After School Tuition classes. |

Many thanks to Pam Green of Sproughton, nr Ipswich, who hosted a charity Tea Party in her garden. A relaxing afternoon was enjoyed by small children and senior folk alike, and we are grateful for their welcome help |
