Children in India, who are born to any
of the thousands of families living in poverty, won’t have a chance
to be part of India’s booming economy. They’ll be lucky if they
finish primary school!
India has long been an enigma, a land
of mystery, but there is no mystery about the fact that while the
new middle class continues to grow and benefit from the expanding
economy, thousands of families living in India’s rural areas still
suffer from extremes of climate, lack of investment, lack of
employment, and lack of education……….POVERTY in fact. Their children
will not be able to take part in India’s promising future because
they have no skills to offer and no chance to gain those skills.
The Joe Homan Charity is working with
local partners to overcome the problems these youngsters face, and
offers relief from poverty, regular education, and the chance of a
better future.
