BTS have again taken the responsibility as ‘parent’ of their residential children. Recent activity has included organising medical checks, administration of the Measles and Rubella vaccine and a testing of blood to check Haemoglobin levels. Follow up actions, such as hospital visits or additional vitamins for individual children are in place and some changes to menus at each home have been made to improve health levels.
We know that education and care are important for all our students, their health and wellbeing is also important. NGOs acting as guardian is all part of that care.
